  • The Valley Pool

    The Valley Pool is a popular destination for elite swimmers and athletes, as well as recreational swimmers. There is 50-metre, outdoor, heated pool with grandstands as well as a fitness centre that offers group fitness classes. The pool offers swimming lessons for adults, squad swimming and stroke development, and is an event pool for water polo, free diving and swimming competitions. There is an on-site cafe. 

    The Valley Pool accepts bookings for corporate events and private functions. Catering is also available. Contact the venue to make a booking.

  • New Farm Park

    New Farm Park is a heritage-listed riverfront public park at 137 Sydney Street, New Farm, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Albert Herbert Foster and built from 1914 to 1950 by Gladwin Legge & Co. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 7 February 2005.

    The park covers 15 hectares (37 acres) and is at the southeastern end of the New Farm peninsula on a bend in the Brisbane River.[2] The Powerhouse arts centre is at the eastern end of the park. The park includes the New Farm Park ferry wharf and links to the Brisbane Riverwalk from Newstead to Toowong. It is one of Brisbane's most popular parklands and tourist attractions.

  • Judith Wright Arts Centre

  • Queensland Military Memorial Museum

    The General Sir Arthur MacDonald, KBE, CB, Annex of The Queensland Military Memorial Museum presents displays of education interest in Queensland's military heritage with uniforms from 1857, medals from the New Zealand (Maori) Wars to present days, photographs from pre-Federation Queensland, weapons from an 1800 'brown Bess' musket to modern firearms and swords including Queensland Defence Force bandsman's items, trench and convalescence art, and other memorabilia of pre- Federation Queensland Defence Force personalities. Queensland raised and later disbanded units of different eras, and of Queensland service personnel of Australia's involvement in peace and war.
